Default 2000 Integra GSR Tranny Question - Tranny Experts Needed.

I got a 98 GSR Shell and dropped a 2000 GSR Engine and Tranny. I got the car to start up and while the front of the car was on the jack stands, i began checking to see if the tranny shifted well and if the wheels moved.

Heres the situation... I put the car in 1st and 2nd but only the passenger side wheel rotates while the driver side wheel barely rotates. When i put the car in 3rd, 4th, 5th or Reserve, both sides rotate with no problems.

One of my theory's is that the tranny syncros are bad (worst case scenario).

Another theory is that the shift linkages for this tranny that i bought from someone (bought from different person than the engine/tranny) are kinda out of wack. When i first got the linkages, they seemed ok but when i went to install them the shifter housing seemed slightly bent out of shape (not a lot but noticable). Could this affect where the shifter is engaging the gears therefore causing the gears not to be fully engaged?

Please help, any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
