Are the .2 extra liters worth the money...?
B18B Vs. B20B
B20B + headwork and rebuild, tranny and a Drag kit
B18B + Headwork and rebuild , tranny and Drag Kit
How much more money would the B20B cost to be Boost happy on a average?

Well think about it, how many people jumped on the LSVTEC bandwagon despite the displacement difference between the B18C and the B18A/B

this is what i say.....
if you have to be 2.0.. go gsr.. have it resleeved.. then bore it out 3mm over. ba bam!!! you have a 2 liter vtec engine with a crank and oiling system that is meant to rev to 8000 and beyond. all these frankenstein motors are... well.. lets just say honda knows what they're doing and the original setups are extremely well thought out. why use a block from a car that was never designed to rev beyond 7000 or travel faster than 100mph?? i don't get it.

if you want to go the cheap way go with the b20 or the ls block. but if you want it to bone out and spend the money and do it right than go with the gsr resleeve and go with the 85mm pistons. the mister greensol is right

Re: Are the .2 extra liters worth the money...? (Prodigy 2.2 EK)
Just resleeving a B18C isnt going to give me 2.0 ltrs. reliabley is it?Isnt there other things to go alone with that like custom rods and pistons etc...

go B20
i dont care what those other guys are saying...a well built hybrid motor doesnt need to rev high when it makes so much torque in the low end, dont without vtec the b16 would be a zc and the b18c would be an LS motor....if you can get a b20 for a decent price, go for it, put a vtec head on it and buld it for turbo or whatever....i know a guy with a b20/vtec almotor making over 200hp with little modification..........
