Default 1st Gen Crx / b18c swap need Info!

Im selling my 1963 Nova SS very soon and plan to buy a 84-87 1st Gen CRX and do the B18C5 swap with the money i get from my car. i figured the swap will be around $6000 with me doing install. I was wondering if there will be any "major" problems with this swap due to size, axle length, obd1 and obd2 ECU systems. also the hydralic clutch/cable clutch, im planning to use the Hasport billet motor mounts. but other then that i was just wondering if there was some problem i should know before i do this.

any postive info is welcomed, thanks

I think with those year CRX's it will be very difficult...THose are carburated(spelling) I believe...Get a 88 - 91 that will ease some of that up...Also I heard hood and oil pan clearance maybe an issue...Dont quote me on that...But I believe these are issues...

STFU you have no idea what you are talking about.

Hasport makes a mount kit but not one that supports hydro transmission yet.
The 85-87 Si is fuel injected but converting over isn't that horrible in the first place.

The 85 Si is the lightest Si made and thats what I'd try to find if I was you.

Also if you want a cable LSD trans I'll trade you mine for that transmission off the b18c5

Hasport has made this swap a bolt in process and they can also do your wiring for you. The guys @ car doctor performance have a 1st gen w/ an LS/VTEC and they are very competitive in the comp4/PA all motor claases. Do it, you'll be happy once it's all said and done

Ya i saw the hasport mounts for $599 i believe, and the shift linkage and wiring adaption harness on their website under related parts when i clicked on the mounts for the 84-87. but it says it cannot be used with hydralic clutch trannies. Is their a way to convert the 1st gen so i can use the hydralic clutch? (like run the plumming?) and if not, what would be a good cable tranny option that is strong (possably one that came with a stock LSD) also, will i need custom axles or will the axles on the R tranny fit and will i need to change Hubs? Also is the 84-87 crx an OBD 0 car? or OBD 1? and i heard the 1st gen doesnt have a speed sensor and will not engage V-tec, (if this is true how would i fix this?)

a little more Info: im atleast going to get a Si, that has Fuel injection stock.

thanks for everyones help so far
