1st gen b16a into 96+ civic
my friend of mine called me up and said he got a motor for his car(96civic) .. bad thing is its a 1st gen b16a. i know its not impossible to do but im having a hard time remembering what he would need to swap over and keep it 0BD2
so heres my questions
what axles(teg axles?)
wiring issues: use stock harness and rewire knock sensor and vtec .. any others?
also what about the ECU? conversion harnness and use 99si ecu?
motor mounts?
Im probably leaving alot out but im just not fimilar with this type of swap i know the basics .. just need some help thanks!

You'll need 99 Si mounts, and don't even bother when the harness. I'd get a B16A2 OBD2 distributor, intake manifold and fuel injectors, and I'd get a 96-98 EX harness. Knock sensor and VTEC are already embedded in the harness along with the 2 wire IACV. For axles, 99-00 Si ore 94-01 Integra axles.
For ECU, I'd either go OBD2a-> OBD2b harness witha P2T Si ecu, or get a OBD2a->OBD1 harness with a chipped P28 (92-95 Civic EX/Si ecu), or even use a stock B16 P30 (which is the del Sol VTEC OBD1 ecu).
HTH.
