Searched and all I came up with was alot of for sale threads.

My wife drives a 2000 CRV and the Intake manifold has this big thing sticking up on top of it.



Its that silver thing on top of the intake manifold. The IM itself has a hole that connects to that silver thing.

Since I already have a 1st Gen. B16 IM, can I use that with this motor?
What about the emission stuff?

i think but not positive thats its the same bolt pattern so i dont see why it wouldnt work. may have some different connectors on it though since the mani is from a 1st gen.

why dont you just get a ls manifold, i bet you could get one cheap as hell on ebay.

no. the bolt patterns are different. it won't work. but a skunk2 intake manifolf for an LS motor will work.

Ok, thanks guys...
so the b16 is a no go, but the LS is...done!

Anybody know why there is a big silver thing ontop of the manifold? is that just there for emission purposes?
