i'd get a throttle body with obd1 map sensors for cleanliness sake. otherwise you should be good to go.

I agree it makes it a lot cleaner.. I like any **** that has to do with wiring to look perfect... and running a little hose off the throttle body to the MAP just doesn't do it for me... hehe

here's a few more items you'll need...

- 4-wire 02 sensor
- thermostat temperature housing w/ integrated thermo-sensor as seen here:

- hydro b-series tranny, unless you're using a hasport hydro-cable kit.
- You can use any of these ecu's to power your engine: a JDM or US OBD1 P30, P61-GSR (B17A ecu), P72-GSR, P08/P28/P29/P70 --> all of which would need to be reprogrammed for DOHC VTEC use.

- as for the MAP sensor, its best to get the newer style (92+) throttlebody w/top mounted MAP sensor...but...you could retain the older vaccum-line style TB. Just make sure you have the right vaccum port going to the firewall mounted MAP sensor as seen in this pic (my fingers are holding up the MAP-vaccum line):

if the LS motor is an OBD1 engine (94+) & has a 4-wire 02, yes you can reuse it, and yes you can reuse the engine harness and wire it with vtec and KS wires. I haven't confirmed this myself, but I believe you can use a 92+ D-series or 94+ LS thermo-temp housing on the b16a engine.....you might want to look into this yourself....try using your LS one on the b16a.

good luck
