1999 Honda Civic EX

I am having a brain fart and I should know the answer but, I dont thats why im here right now. I dont remember but I thought that all Honda Civic EX's are VTEC. Please somebody clarify this for me. Because it's driving me nuts...Thanks

yes... is there a VTEC solenoid? duh, im sure a quick search would have told you the same thing...

I should have rephrased the question. What I meant to ask was if any 1999 EX's came without VTEC? Sorry for the confusion
