dude, you're in for a world of hurt. i just finished my 1997 H22A swap. still having ECU issues. yes it's fun, but man, what a pain in the ****! but i love my car, and she loves me for it!
ballpark:
auto to stick: $900
H22 conversion: engine+trans+misc. parts $2000 (and WAAAAAAY UP!)

Re: (iakona)
had this swap about 3-4 years ago. also had a custom turbo kit on it done by rpmnyc here in new york.
my set-up was a 96 accord lx sedan with 99 h22a4, 96 p13a12 ecu, 95 h22a1 tranny. the cost really depends on if you want a newer motor or older jdm motor.
i'd really recommend staying with a newer motor for different reasons. mostly everything is plug and play and you won't get the distributor issues with the jdm unit, then switching to the usdm unit. however, locating a 96 ecu is not easy. i bought mine new from ahmotorsports for $650 a few years back when there was absolutely no good information on an obd2 accord h22a swap.
also depends on your states emissions laws and if you can get around them. i also went from auto to manual.
in the end, even after i had my turbo set-up on it pushing anywhere from 7-10 psi daily the car was still too slow. i did a 14.9@93mph with nothing but a crappy muffler and akimoto intake. fully obd2, 2.3 60 foot.
