1993 civic dx d15b7 to b18c JDM GSR swap
Once again I turn to the honda community for help. I've tried searching for guides and found a link but the site is no longer working.
My 1993 civic started knocking Rod knock. I've swapped the main and rod bearing and the engine was sounding good, still slight rod knock. Unfortunately it only lasted 30 miles
I bought a 1995 Civic CX Hatchback, that I thought had a 1.5 d15 but it turns out it has a JDM B18c engine and tranny(Y80) imported from japan. I'm really shocked.
What is involved in the swap. If I swap the engine and tranny to my 93 civic dx, would the ECU from the b18c, be plug and play or is there anything special that needs to be done inorder for it to work in the 93 civic?

I found the swap tutorial.
Overall I got a good deal on the car
$300 for the whole car, has a JDM GSR B18c with Y80 transmission, Apexi full exhaust, DC Headers, Tien Adjustable coilovers, Enkei 17in wheels, AEM cold air intake, Autometer wideband Pro Comp ultra lite, Autometer Oil pressure gauge pro comp ultra lite, and a Short Shifter, also has Hasport motor mounts. Brand new Godspeed radiator, and brand new AC compressor.
