1992 Civic GSR Swap Tach Not Working
Anyone know what could the reason be why my tachometer isn't working after dropping in my OBD2B GSR swap?
I've read that I might have to jump the wire from the distributor to the wire on the driver side where the harnesses plug in?
I used everything from the GSR swap, distributer, engine harness etc.
Can anyone confirm that or help me out please?!
Its my first time doing a project this big so please don't bash on me LOL

Does your distributor have the blue tach signal wire ??? Eight wires in the plug does NOT have the tach wire... nine wires in the plug does have the tach wire. If not, you will need to get an older distributor that has this wire. Now, since you also used the newer GSR engine harness, you will need to add a wire from the distributor to the chassis harness plug at the shock tower so that it sees the rpm signal. Then your tach will work.
