Default 1984 civic (hybrid)

I'm about to get 84 civic automatic the carburated one it only has 95K on it but it needs a tranny. And I was going to make it my beater but I'm thinking of swaping either a 86-89 integra motor in it or maybe 92-95 civic ex motor. Which motor do you think would have more potential the integra one or the D16z6. I'm thinking the civic motor considering their is more aftermarket support for it. Do you think I'm getting out of hand with this beater?

Just keep in mind that the 1992+ motor is going to be more difficult to swap. I have seen it done. But since it does not have the right kind of bracket on the driver's side, it won't be as easy. And you will still need a 1G Integra transmission. As for the swap itself, it won't be extremely easy. The motor may bolt in pretty easily. But you will be stuck with the job of trying to upgrade the fuel and electrical system to handle fuel injection.
