180-200ish NA ls/b20?
I've been searching for the past hour at posts and find some of what I'm looking for........I've got a 1999 SI and looking for more power of course. I'd like close to 200whp but 180ish is nice too but hav'n a little trouble deciding what to reach that.
Thoughts:
LS or B20 block
Head off my B16A2
ITR Cams
4-1 header
2.25" free flowing exhaust (maybe with testpipe depending on tone, no bumble bee for me)
Pistons I'm kinda stuck on, either use the B16A2's I've got or switch to ITR or?
Hondata for tuning maybe but prob just a VAFCII
Clutch + Light fly if it matters
I'm prob missing a couple things I was thinking of but my time is be'n cut off (at the library).
Thanks!

Re: 180-200ish NA ls/b20? (tthomass)
switch to civic type r cams, 2.5 exhaust, i'd say use b16 pr3 pistons. in the LS block they yield a little higher cr than the itr pistons. keep in mind both sets of pistons will only fit on the ls block. the b20 block will require aftermarket pistons due to the 84mm bore size. 4-1 headers??? maybe shell out a little bit more and get pro-fab or anr/bisimoto headers. that might mean you may not be able to keep PS or AC, but for NA cars, headers will make that difference for you. that should get you close to 200 hp. also look into different IM, and bigger TB. Hondata for tuning... without boost, it costs about the same as a brand new VAFC. I don't know why you wouldn't want to. good luck!
