Alright guys i got q. Im not to knowlegable on the ZC and Bseries motors but i think i know bull **** when i hear it.
I met this guy the other day at the gas station and he gave me props on my lude. So he begins to tell me how bad *** his 89 hatch is, so im thinking he is running a worked Bseries motor, B18 or B16. Well he tells me its a ZC with LS teg internals. Well he said he has "OVER 300 hp and runs 13.3's". So i ask can i see the motor, and he is like yeah. Well he pops the hood and i do see a ZC motor but nothing to assure me he is pushing 300 hp. I see no MSD ignition, no Air fuel Ratio, cus i know you need fuel to be pushing that kind of power outof the ZC, no adj cam gears no aftermarket header, the exhaust was the stock Dx hatch exhaust form 89 all rusted out. The intake manifold looked stock and he had stock plug wires. I really dont know alot about these motors but it just didnt sound right. Then he says he is running 15:0:1 compression on pump gas (91). Is this possible???? I smiled in his face and said his ride is pimp, but in the back of my head i was like this guy is fullof ****.

Man, why do people lie about **** like this? It really bugs me, they think everybody else is stupid that when they list things they read in Super Street that we'll believe everything they say.

You should've asked him how he runs that high of compression on 91 octane and see what his answer is. I'd like to know too.

Dude i guess he though i was dumb, i dont know. i dont know why. I mean my lude is quick but it isnt Fast and Furious. I dont go around telling people i have a milled and decked head, running on 12:2:1 compression and running high 14.s

Yeah i wanted to asked him how he does it on pump gas but i was neck deep in bullshit and i figured if he kept going i would drown!!!

Maybe he meant that his pistons had so much carbon buildup that his CR was near 15:1 or something? At least he didn't say he had NAWWWSS!

I always look to see if they are running stock injectors or not. More power always means more fuel, so hopefully they have larger and better injectors.

next time you see him ask him how he managed that.
ask for what internals, and a list of his fuel setup.
or just ask what gas he is using

no way in hell you can run pump gas with a 15:1 CR especially with 91 octane...i was thinking of having my h22 built 12:1 and my friend that building my motor told me bad idea if im going to be using pump gas so im doing 11.5:1 to be on the safe side....
