121k mile GSR swap too much?
do you guys think thats too much? 121,000 miles on a 95 gsr motor. complete swap for 2700 shipped to my doors. I plan to get new rods and pistons so would it matter how much mile the thing has on it?

If you are going to rebuild the engine anyway it doesnt sound all that bad. I mean is it was me and I was going to rebuild it I would maybe get it. I would go ahead and get all new gaskets and whatever else that might be worn out.

that is alot of $ for how many milage it has.. look around I've seen plenty of better deals than that. if you are content on buying it ask the owner to produce some numbers such as a compression test or leakdown test. that will tell you where your at with that motor.

for real I know someone who got a full B18c 94-00 engine the ObD2, for $400 dollars, the thing is. SOmeone pored gas on the car and burned it to the ground.
All the wires were melted to it and the hoses. He spent 13 hours chizziling guck and melted stuff off of it.
NOw it has a T3/T4 turbo on it pushing like 10 PSi on stock internals with a standalone comp.
The fact of the matter is, the engine was burned all to hell, he got it for $400 dollars, invested 5 to $600 dollars into new stuff for the engine, and it works perfect, the best part is it only had 8000 miles on it when it was burned.
**** I wish i would have got there first.

Look in the classified section of this site. There are two sources, one guy has a low mile one for like $2900.00. Keep searching, patience is the key!
