0bd2 gsr into EF sedan
i bought a 01 gsr sedan integra a few months ago as a project...
it's so riced out (shaved handles, shaved antenna, shaved tail lights, hideous body kit, half primer half crappy paint job)
i think it would cost less to buy a new car to put the motor into.
i really want an EF sedan to put my gsr motor and tranny into.
how hard will this be? what will i need? and does anyone have good tips?

Re: 0bd2 gsr into EF sedan
i'll tell you what i did with my obd2 b16b in my hatch. was going to keep the obd2 distributor, but it was dead and just used an obd1 b16 distributor and obd1>obd0 distributor jumper harness. used a p28 ecu and obd0>obd1 ecu jumper harness. kept the obd2 injectors and ditched the resistor box. tuner took care of the rest, ie disabling sensors that weren't used
regarding gsr, the one in my sedan is obd1, so basically did every that above except still have the obd0 injectors and resistor box and have the gsr ecu with the jumper harness. had an itr trans so used the hasport cable to hydro set-up

Re: 0bd2 gsr into EF sedan
Do you plan on keeping it running off the OBD2 computer?
I have yet to see a 4th gen running off an OBD2 ECU. I'm sure somebody has done it, but to get FULL OBD2 working and functioning just like it was in the right chassis - haven't seen it.
Typical route is to go OBD1. All your OBD1 sensors and such are compatible with OBD1 ECUs except the IAB. OBD1 trigger off a ground signal (power is always present at the IAB) while OBD2 triggers off a +12 (ground is always present).
Xenocron has a pretty good description http://www.xenocron.com/install/OBD1-IABs.htm
