i just finished putting it in but the car does not start i used the stock harness that came on the o1' motor and used a obd1 ecu everything is plugged in except for one plug on the pass side harness its a 2 wire plug and the plug from the o1 motor is a 3 plug so i couldnt connect that set of plugs together, i throw a code 3 which is map sensor but can that prevent a car from starting , what can it be?

Check over all of your connections, especially the grounds. The one on the thermostat housing can easily be neglected. Check to make sure you don't have the MAP and TPS plugs reversed. That's easy to do since they use the same plugs and are right near one another.

still no luck, i even tore out the alarm that was in there, im stuck why it wont start

does it crank? compression test? try plugging in the connection on your starter.

No MAP no start. check your wire colors, on a 01 teg they should be:
yellow/red
red/green
green/white
