Ok, so my buddy is planning a b20 vtec hybrid crx...:

He's found a complete usdm b16 from an '00 si, and can buy a b20z shortblock.

He plans to send them both out to a shop to have the work done for him. i.e vtec oil lines run and head matched up, etc...

What ecu should he run? Would the b16's ecu work with a vafc?

How much should he expect to pay for the b16 longblock, b20z short block, and labor? We'll do the swap ourselves, but not the vtec oil lines, etc...
