I have a spare 00/GSR block and I want to use new ITR rods and JDM R slugs with a 00/SI head with some 00/R internals will this set up work?

It's a b-series head with a b-series block and WILL perfectly work together if assembled correctly. I would get the head port/polished while its off the car since its virtually the same thing as an ITR head. I would personally do this combo instead of an ls/cr-vtec since you don't have to block this and run that here and there and you get the cool little oil squirters. But thats just me.
