Default 00 b18c1 in 94 cx

im about to do the swap but need a half shaft and a rear mount bracket, i know someone that has a 90 dx with a ls/vtec he is parting out and need to know if the rear mount bracket will work and if the half shaft will work even though it was on a j1 cable tranny.
Thanks

yes it will work. you will also need to use 90-93 integra axles with that half shaft.

The rear bracket from the swap in the 90 DX was made for the 88-91 models. You'll need a 94-01 GSR rear bracket. If you already have the 00 GSR axels then I would buy a 94-01 Integra or 99-00 Si intermediate shaft. You could use the 90-93 intermediate shaft but you would then need to use 90-93 axels and change the seal on the on the shaft side of the tranny.

i already have the gsr axels, so even if it is a 3g ls block neither would work?

Well I can't say 100% for sure what parts they used on the swap since the car isn't in front of me. Chances are they used a 90-93 intermediate shaft and axels which is common parts for B swaps in the EF chassis. Since you already have the GSR axels, just throw some $ toward the proper intermediate shaft and rear bracket so you can get it in and be on your way
