If you don't already have a b-series swap in your car, you're probably looking at under 3000 for everything to do the swap, that's including an engine, trans, h2b kit, mounts, and then misc other parts here and there. Still probably the most bang for your buck. I haven't finished mine yet but I've been doing alot of shopping around for used parts and it has saved me quite a bit. I will have around 3000 in my whole swap and that's including alot of extra upgrades that I chose to do, but weren't really necessary.

yea the framerail covers it haha. I ran a nissan micra through several alberta winters without any timing protection. Never had a problem. Everything is sealed, the belt spinning is no different than alternator or fan belts. I like it this way because monitoring and maintaining the timing system is so simple. Plus the qsd kit isnt very kind to clearance in this area.
