I used prelude rad hoses, the bottom one was fine and fit with no modifications, the top one needed a little bit of shortening each end.

Heres my build thread on honda evolutions (a UK site). Ive tried to go into detail about the fiddly bits which I couldnt find anywhere else.

also what are the "Legal" cat-back systems out there for a 92 hatch?

I dont know about exhaust legality as im from the UK, we have the same emissions laws thoughout the whole of the UK. Im guessing its the decibels that are a problem? Just keep it the stock prelude pipe diameter and keep all the silencers in place or beef them up if you have to. You can also buy silencer inserts from ebay depending on your tailpipe design. In the case of emissions just keep the prelude CAT attached to the downpipe.

I've buy the HAsport Stage 2 axlex but nothing, they are brake.

I want to buy the ESP motor mount, nothing use this mount?

They are a good mount?

What are the best axles for the ESP mount?

hey guys! a 97 coupe with an H22....

since its a h22 i really dont know wat to look for on like if the swap was done right and stuff like that.... the guy said it was done clean by a local honda tunner guy...

can anyone help me? i would also like to know wat would be a good price for the car... cause i think hes asking to much.... it has i brand neew champ white paint job off its all shitty on the edges where the paint meets the other things... also the guy that painted it mesed up on the clear coat... its all dripped in some parts of the car... and i needs a new windshield and some rims.... (its on steelies)

ADR33 you must be joking! Don't go for it unless the paint job and the cracked windshield are masking a perfect engine with no body damage... That's just ludicrous.

well i ran the car and SH** its STRONG even in 5th. i was doing bout 80mph and i though i was doing like 60 or something... its a smooth ride... i barely stepped on it in 5th and i was picking up spd hella fast.... lol i loved the feel of it.....



but oh well the guy said hes not gonna sell it anymore... "his wife said 'they cant afford another car' and he has to many bills".....

does anyone have the Innovative H22 into EG92-95 mounts? i got them with no instructions.. i'm assuming i remove the pass side and weld in place.. but they have screw holes in the back half.. do those line up with some pre-existing holes? or.. do i drill some?...

Has anyone ran the shift cables through the firewall instead of under the car and then up? I did a k series swap this way a few years back before karcept was around and i ran the cables through the fire wall.

i just did the swap and i just drilled the two hole with the screws ... but i got hasport it looks like this


thats a h22 into a del sol .. i also had to trim a lil bit of the frame by that mount so the tranny wouldnt hit the frame ..

as far as the shift cables through the firewall im not sure exactly where to put them threw.. do i have to make a hole in the firewall to get them in or is it precut??

by the way this thread has helped me alot ive read through all 121 pages .. took like 3 days but i did lol .. i have a 97 h22a4 that i took from my 5th gen into my del sol.. the main problem i ran into was that i had to get a new distributor due to changing from obd2 to obd1 and somehow the timing got messed up so now im doing that and hopefully it will start..

Anyone know of an axle that is half an inch shorter than the 90-93 axle? Mine is binding now since i changed from HCP to innovative. But only on the passenger side.

im doing a jdm h22 swap is there any reason i cant get an obd2 to obd1 adapter and just cut the obd2 plug off then use my complete harness from the motor???

you can get a adapter for your ecu but good luck finding the adapter to plug the engine harness to the car.

i just finished my h22a swap on my civic hatch .. i did have this engine in a sedan before but i sold the shell and swapped it in a eg hatch i had .. ill show pics of both engine bays

hey.. for the rear Motor mount.... does it have to be an h22 manual mount.. or can it come from an accord or something... my swap didnt come with a halfshaft or a rear mount bracket.. im kinda pissed,

I believe i have a 92-95 prelude vtec rear bracket. But for sure i'm using a 90-93 accord half shaft w/ 90-93 teg driver axle and 86-89 integra passenger axle. I found the axle cheapest at Napa autoparts.

yea the halfshaft doesnt matter.. as long as your axles match up

so i took my intake and exaust manifolds off, and the intake side is clean.. but the exaust side is rather dirty.. is there any way i can clean the exaust ports without having to take the motor apart, i know your not supposed to get anything down inside right.. so just wondering. OH.. and the header my car came with is a "Jasmina"??? or "Jasma" its a JDM h22 so i dunno if thats the normal one it comes with.
