bought a pro series IM today. Thinking about picking up a omnipower 70mm TB, anyone hear anything bad about them?

Re: **Official H2B Discussion thread **
I hope it picks up power, if I can't pick up 4 whp with this IM/TB/Header combo I don't even know what to say. I just don't want my power to start falling off at 6500 lol. I know that's gotta hurt my 1/4 mile times. Now if I could just find an affordable header. Anyone looking for an oem intake manifold with direct port tapped already??

Can't figure it out for the life of me. That was with the stock intake manifold/banged up dc header that was heated up and bent to work. And through a 5-6 year old cat. New setup consists of the pro series IM/70mm TB/different header. Unsure what i'm getting, i may have a local shop make me one. I'm gonna go get a quote today.
edit: I'm hoping the old header/cat deal was not letting the motor breath and causing me to lose hp/tq the way it did. I already deleted the cat. I'm just waiting to see what i'm gonna do about this header situation so i can retune.

Joel showed me that link, I'm not sure how good they are but they do make one for h2b applications. I think there is a huge demand for them though and therefore a long wait time

Feels much better now that i've deleted it. But thats just the *** dyno. I'd put it on the dyno to see where its at. But its really not worth my time.
Yeah, he showed me that earlier. But if you read the last page, it seems like people aren't really getting their ****. I was gonna get something like yours and modify. Me and some bseries guys are trying to get a deal from a dude. Dont know who it is. But i'll find out on monday to see what the deal is. But its supposed to be a tri-y. I got a couple quotes from Full blown on a custom unit. If i can't find something. I'll just do that. Pricing is similar to rmf units..

Yeah mine works for now, but I'm not happy with it, Ground clearance is absolutely terrible i already told myself im going to stop messing around and get a SSR made, im on my 2nd exhaust setup on this car and i just want to be done with it. So when i make the move to 3" ill get one made, i just ordered all new suspension since after the track i broke one of my coilovers trying to lower it back down, dunno how it got seized but they were junk anyways.

You want a throttle body my buddy has a Professional Products 68mm he's selling. Brand new in box. I have not tried the Omni but PP is awesome for the price. Very good throttle response and no sticking at all.

How come you didn't settle for the Euro R? I believe nah2b did a comparison with the two and the Euro R did better on a mildly built h2b. I would say if stock and mildly built I'd stick with the Euro R cause the h22's aren't rev happy. You'll only be able to take the motor to 7500-8000 rpms and thats good enough for the R. I think unless you spin the motor to 8500-9000 rpms the skunk2 won't be as beneficial as the Euro R.

Re: **Official H2B Discussion thread **
I'm going to rebuild a motor during the winter. more stroke, more compression, bigger cams. I figured the pro series IM would be beneficial for that build. Who knows, if it doesn't perform. I'll get something else. Local shop cut me a pretty good deal so i bought it. I already bought an omni 70mm that should be here next week. If this little group buy falls through, I already have my eyes set on another header that i could purchase on monday. Should be able to tune by the weekend. I'll update with results later.

I'm already on e85. Per the calculation checker dealio, the compression will be above 13.5:1. 24.5 seem to be a perfect tire for b16/itr transmissions

Well what else can you do besides bang the frame rail? lol. Its either that or pull it all back out and remove the balance shafts.

dam thats the only way i c the swap all the time wit the same setup and the framerail where the akternator is isnt banged in?

Re: **Official H2B Discussion thread **
you should have gotten the innovative alt relocator kit. that way you could have used an h series alternator and not have had to bang the frame rail to clear the alt. pulley. what chassis are you doing the swap in?
