whats up everyone??
i just put a 1997 b18a in my 88 si and it has been bogging a little lately which then turned into a speratic(i dont know how to spell that?) bucking and then started to die on me especially at idle.......every once in a while it will just drop to like 500 rpm's, then it will try to stay alive for a few seconds but then just die, but when i try to hit the gas to raise the rpms it wont make a difference i can floor it and its like im not hitting the pedal at all the rpms stay down.....then it will die, sometimes it will start right up, and sometimes it will take a while to start it but this morning when i got to work it died and now it wont start at all?? wtf!! it just cranks...i can hear my fuel pump turn on and off, i just replaced my fuel filter, i used the dist off of my b16 and that has a new coil and ignitor in it! has anyone have this problem with their LS???
its not throwing any codes either.
i am thinking it could be the dist but i dont want to waste the money buying one and it not be that.........so can someone please help me out!! thanks!

This is a longshot...did you happen to put the dist. i nbackwards...the ls dist. works on the b16 peglegged and all so the b16 should work on the ls.

have you checked all the senors, to make sure they are getting a current!!!
Check the distributor again!!

sound's like your distirbutor, or it could be your wires what r u running cuz the 97 B18 is a OBD2. If your sensor aren't correct the car will boog out and die...... good luck
