Default $10,000 Hybrid Question..........

Well if you were to start with a ten thousand dollar budget from scratch, what would you build? If you could do it all over again, or if your doing it for the first time.... What chassis, what engine???

Me personally I would use my $10,000 for an EG hatch si body, with b16 and the rest of the money to mods....

How bout you?

Why you selling an ITR shell? What does it consist of????? Just the shell, or you have suspension in there and what not?

Si Body?? Why that...I m just saying the the si body weight as much as a dx coupe. Personally, a cx or vx body with b16b motor (Not the faster but it's sexy)

I would get the si simply cause it comes with the 4 wheel disc brakes and it is already wired for vtec. Thats the only reason. It makes it a little easier ya know.

You are correct tho it prolly does weigh the same, and yes the b16b motor is sexy!

Ok $10,000 dolllars the most complete car (motor, suspension, brakes and looks) I could think of would be the following:
1. 92 vx hatch (already wiried for vtec)= $3000
2. b18c1 swap=$3200
3. Integra F+R complete brake swap=$550
4. Tein coilovers=$900
5. 16inch rota c's with tires=$800
6. Aem CAI= $175
7. DC 4-1 header=$300
8. Tanabe SRM=$550
9. JDM **** carbon ciber duckbill=$235(I think)
10. Carbon fiber spoon replica lip=$250
11. Fake vision amber corners=$40
TOTAL $10,000
Now I just took into account that he said COMPLETE. I not not building my hatch like this but for 10,000 I think that this has looks, speed, suspension and brakes.

Same thing, si eg6 but white , the rarer color and who cares about a little extra weight when you get a moonroof, perfectly adequate gauge cluster, good harness already perfect for vtec engine swap, then i'll get amber corners, cf wing and lip, rotas mf-8 with quality tires, koni shocks, lowering springs, type R seats, repaint the car again since the paint probably is bad... then a nicely b18c1 plus type-R tranny, six-puck clutch, lighten flywheel with smog legal supercharger, since i live in CA. if i were not in Cali, fully built LS-v would do! thank you! looks good and can smoke most neighborhood car in any stoplight race....i wonder if that's over 10,000...

I'd like to clear up that all 92 hatches are pre-wired for VTEC, so that's not really an issue..the Dx is probably the easiest, because there's already a 4-wire O2, so you literally only have to run 3 wires. I just built a nice all round setup..
92 Dx Hatch
95 GSR Motor
All GSR suspension Arms w/ ES poly bushings
Stock 95 GSR wheels w/ Falken Azenis 205/50 15
all GSR brakes, Brembo CD/S with Axxis metalmaster
Tein SS Coilovers
GSR Brake Booster, Master Cyl, Fuel Pump, etc. etc.
Other stuff I can't remember/mention...
It's not the fastest thing in the world, but it's great all around
