"gsr" rear mount bolts don't line up
'94 cx with a '95 jdm "gsr" going in and the rear mount bolt holes don't line up with the tranny mount holes. They are so close, but the two lower bolt holes are about 1/4" wider apart on the tranny than on the mount. what is going on!!?
Am i doing somthing wrong (i dont think so) or is this from a b16 or some really close motor or somthing.
It just sucked to have the engine dropped in there and to find this out - sucked

Re: "gsr" rear mount bolts don't line up (RoyFokker)
yep, i'm using the supposed gsr bracket that they sent me with the engine. but it won't even bolt up to the engine, i'd have to stretch the bracket about 1/4 inch to make the holes line up.
could this be the b16 bracket or somthing else that is close? I think these importers separte many parts from their engines and put them in different piles and thats how things get mixed up. I don't even think my transmission they sent came from this engine.

Re: "gsr" rear mount bolts don't line up (daver)
When i recieved my b18c engine from cali they told me i had a gsr rear mount also but it turned out to be from a 93 integra not a 94 or newer, make sure the bracket is the right year or they wont line up. I had the same exact problem. I had to send the mount back and get the 95 gsr/ls one sent to me which delayed my swap by a couple days. once i got the right mount it all bolted together perfectly it wasn't hard to line up and of the holes. If you have a friend with an integra check there mount and see if its the same, hope this helps.

thanks for the response. I have a '90 integra, its hard to tell if its the same mount tho while its installed. Its good to know what i likely have here tho for when i do my complaining to them. I go up there and deal with these boneheads in person. I have to exchange a broken shift linkage as well, plus they didn't send all the engine mount nuts and bolts (can't reuse all my d15 ones)
