Accord Coupe V6s with the manual transmission are brilliant, but here's why you shouldn't cry at the prospect of a 6-speed automatic Accord Coupe V6.

Would I buy a 8th Gen Coupe (used) today? Yes.
Would I want a 9th gen coupe? No, because Honda add too much strange styling to one of the most beauty lines.

As a past owner of a 8th Gen V6 Sedan (before I got rear ended), I loved that car. I considered it the closest to the "perfect car" in spirit. That car was the 1989 Acura Legend. Although I owned a Sedan V6, I wanted a Coupe. V6 auto, and why not. V6 manual models are near impossible to find. And Motor Trend clock it going from 0-60 in 6.5 sec in automatic form. That's as fast I as I should go.
Would I buy a 8th Gen Coupe (used) today? Yes.
Would I want a 9th gen coupe? No, because Honda add too much strange styling to one of the most beauty lines.

Here is the problem with the current Accord Coupe.
To sell more, Honda added more (ugly) styling. So Honda sells even less 9th gen Coupes (vs 8 Gen). See, Marketing was right all along. No one wants 2 door coupes. I doubt the Coupe will make it to the 2018 10th Gen Accord.
Honda should just Touring the Coupe and sell it as Acura. The TLX Coupe. The low volume would justify it as an Acura brand.
