Re: 5 Facts that Made Cheesefrog's Civic The Baddest On the Internet
Speaking of, over the last few weeks I've been looking at turbo kits for Hondas. I didn't realize how much they've fallen in price.
I started considering selling the shoe collection and turbo'ing a d-series. I was all about it, thinking the investment on a d-series honda and turbo would be sub $4k. Then I started thinking about pistons, exhaust, keeping/making the AC work, "cheap" wheels, light suspension setup, etc. ...naaahhhhh.

But really I've been thinking of selling my d series swap to go K. My point is that going turbo d is pretty affordable and you could easily do sub $4k imho.

Buy my entire swap so I can go back to having a car on jackstands that serves as a monument to my inability to make rational decisions.

no need for pistons/rods. just get a decent bolt on kit and have a fun car to drive.
I thought about it as well, but its getting harder and harder to find something fun but not beat to ****.

Pistons and rods are so cheap for those motors you might as well just do it. Get some forged rods and Vitara pistons for like $150/set haha.
