Speaking of, over the last few weeks I've been looking at turbo kits for Hondas. I didn't realize how much they've fallen in price.

I started considering selling the shoe collection and turbo'ing a d-series. I was all about it, thinking the investment on a d-series honda and turbo would be sub $4k. Then I started thinking about pistons, exhaust, keeping/making the AC work, "cheap" wheels, light suspension setup, etc. ...naaahhhhh.

A better use of money with a similar outcome would be a well taken care of 2008-2009 Mazdspeed 3.

Shoes don’t break down and sell quicker.

Do you think Chris Hurst / CCE go home after a hard day writing these articles for Internet Brands and goes

Shoes do break down though. Give them enough years in storage and they become completely un-wearable.

816/Bauley: A smarter way to spend that money with a similar outcome is to set the shoes/money on fire.

Holy **** you should be shadowbanned.

When dude raced a viper a 'fast' Honda was still 12-13 seconds and had like 300hp.

I agree with this, though finding a clean, unmolested and not-rusted example would be key.

Are these starting to be come collectible now? I always liked the 1st gen the best, with the later ones being the best of that group (I had an '09).

Buy my entire swap so I can go back to having a car on jackstands that serves as a monument to my inability to make rational decisions.

But really I've been thinking of selling my d series swap to go K. My point is that going turbo d is pretty affordable and you could easily do sub $4k imho.

no need for pistons/rods. just get a decent bolt on kit and have a fun car to drive.
I thought about it as well, but its getting harder and harder to find something fun but not beat to ****.

Pistons and rods are so cheap for those motors you might as well just do it. Get some forged rods and Vitara pistons for like $150/set haha.
