would you buy this s2k?
it is an 02 s2k w/ ~33K miles. it has had 4 owners, i'd be the 5th. it's been dropped and has intake and exhaust. price is around $17K. there're a few scratches and bumps.

would you not want to buy it because of the mods done to it, the many previous owners, the price, or for some other reason? would you be more convinced to buy it if you could take it to an auto shop to get it checked out?

thanks for the replies. as far as more info, the carfax has stats for owner 1-2, then 3, then 4. i don't know why they grouped 1&2 together.
owners 1-2 had the car for 3 years and sold it with about 20K on the odometer.
owner 3, upped the odom. reading to 23,380, had it for 11 months, and sold it.
owner 4, who actually put the mods on, sold it with 28,118K and had it for about a year and a half.
now that i look at it, i think i'd be the 6th owner since they probably wouldn't put the stats for the 5th owner who is selling it to me.
sorry about the pics, i don't have any on me.

Why would these owners buy it, put some miles on it, have it less than a year, and sell it?! Waste of money!!!

because they like change. I normally never own a car longer than a year. Longest to date would be a year and three months. I have been driving for 5 yrs and have owned multiple cars at once. I personally get bored quickly and find its time for the change.
P.S. it is not a waste of money either if you know how to shop. I have never sold a car for less than I paid for it. On ocassion if I do not mind waiting for it to sell I have made money.

NO! Price is too high for an 02 and having 5 owners by that millage is unheard of. If your spending that kinda $$ get an 04-05 with around 50k or something.

maybe because the S, to most owners, is a 3rd vehicle. some people buy the car thinking that they can afford it, then have to sell it a year later because they dont really drive it, need to sell to get out of debt, etc.
****. im the 5th owner of my S, the previous owner got the car as a wedding gift from his parents & realized that he had to sell the car in order to buy a house...he had priorities. he also got the car in may of 07 with 28,9xx miles, i bought it december 07 with 30,6xx miles. again, another thing that proves it was a'nice weather only' kind of vehicle
to the OP. the price seems a little high, especially since it has been modded
