i went to honda today and asked about gettin a hardtop and you know what they said to me?..Out of stock, i dont think they are making them anymore.Also for the 2003 models you have to buy a bracket ? he said with labor of installing the bracket and wiring up the defroster it would cost close to 4g's
is this true? where else can i get one?

PM "hardtopguy" on s2ki or got to hardtopguy.com. He has the best price on hardtops, bar none. Certain models require varying install kits. None cost more than $175. I installed my HT myself in a couple of hours; no biggie.

Keep calling other dealers as well. None of them know what they're talking about, and the prices vary by dealership.

When i called a while back I had quotes ranging from $2700-$5k.

Did you actually read this thread before asking? The various prices that people have found are posted all over it. Hardtops range from $2k-$4k depending on where you look (for the OEM ones; the Mugen ones are availible through King motorsports for a pretty set price).
