Re: What hardtop sites are still working (OEM)
The only site I can think of is hardtopguy.com
As for new, you probably won't find any, unless someone bought a new one way back when and never used it. Otherwise, you'll be looking at different market places, like ht or s2ki to find a used one. Justa heads up though, The black hardtops usually can sell for a bit more, since they can be used with any color S. |
Re: What hardtop sites are still working (OEM)

Re: What hardtop sites are still working (OEM)
If you can find one you will also need to modify the catchers and strikers to accept locks. My CR top is locked to the car at all mounting points and I have no intentions of ever removing it. Any attempt to remove the top without the keys would only destroy the top and all its mounting hardware. I did this after a guy at s2kca gave me the tips on security measures he put in place for both of his S2000s and after an attempt to steal my CR's seats a couple of years ago. Best of luck to you.

theyre discontinued genius |
Re: What hardtop sites are still working (OEM)
No longer in production, best to look for a used unit on here, S2KCA or S2KI.

Re: What hardtop sites are still working (OEM)
Sometimes they still have them leftover at honda dealerships, cheaper than what people are trying to sell used. And they're new too...
|
Re: What hardtop sites are still working (OEM)
I seriously doubt any dealers have a hardtop laying around since these were usually special ordered by a individual. There are none in the main Honda warehouses and the few remaining were bought up by individual parts suppliers like HardTopGuy. And when was the last time a dealer sold a Honda part cheaper than an individual? It's a sellers market now, so if you want one be prepared to pay more for it new or used.

Re: What hardtop sites are still working (OEM)
you can find a used one for around 2500-3000.. i just missed a deal on a black hardtop.. but forbidden usa on s2ki plans to make oem style hardtops(carbon fiber and fiber glass), that can use oem glass or lexan price gonna be around 2k. i have their mugen rep fits great so if same quality as that it will be just as good.

Re: What hardtop sites are still working (OEM)
One big problem with trying to buy a top at the dealership is that most dealerships have to clue how to actually order one. The color codes, and therefore, the part numbers changed pretty much every year, and after the headache of figuring out what color your looking for, it probably still won't be the right color and they'll also tell you they can't get them anymore...then you'll be back to square one.
My advice....stop looking for new, there aren't any. |
