STI BBS wheels on s2000

hey i baught an Ap2 s2000 taht was stripped out so it has no wheels. I found this guy selling some bronze STI wheels which are 17's. They might look kinda tight on this white s2k not sure yet. But apparently the bolt pattern pattern for the STI wheels is 5x114. Is that the same as an s2000 i read a bunch of different things i just wanted to hear it from you guys before a drop a few hundo on these wheels. Does anybody on here have STI wheels on S2k????? might be kinda sikkkkk. thanks

I'm sure this will look dumb. But yes, the S2000 is 5X114.3.

You know they have stock AP2 wheels/tires all over Ebay for cheap....

They're 17x8 +55. They're going to look about as agressive as AP2 wheels. Maybe a little less agressive actually.

AP2 wheels are 17x8.5 in the rear. Making the STi's wheels narrower than stock wheels.

Sounds extremely boring to me. Maybe that's why nobody did it.

Re: STI BBS wheels on s2000

Some one did have a set on s2ki.com like...3 years ago.

the problem is that the OEM sti wheels has a smaller bore than s2k, the buyer found out that sh-t the hard way(the seller has a s2000 also, which sold the rims without telling anyone about this problem)

Re: STI BBS wheels on s2000

I allways wanted to try them just for shits and giggles cause the sti rims do look nice and i think they would look good on a black ap1 cause if you put them on an ap2 your kinda downgrading in size. Never new about the center bore being too small good thing I did hop on a set that I was about to get. I would like to see a picture of a s2k with those rims.

the center bore on sti wheels is too small for honda.

u either need to bore out the wheels to make it fit the center hub or u need to run spacers.

you could always powdercoat the ap2 v1 wheels bronze or gold or red or black or purple or fuschia or whatever color you want.
