How does the 4.77 gears feel? Does freeway driving feel like the car is being overworked?

yes ithat is silverstone metallic.

The gears are awsome, really wakes the car up at low rpm, its simply amazing. On the freeway the car doesnt really feel like it is being overworked, going 80mph i believe the RPM is at apoub 5xxx but im not really sure, i will have to check on it.

I really want to do the 4.77 gears as well but am hesitant only for the reason of over working the motor on the freeway. I am in So. Cal (sherman oaks) also and was wondering who did the gear install for you?

Thanks,

-David

I'm sorry for some reason my work firewall won't let me send PM's... so how much did you pay for the gears and did you install J's or Rick's? Sounds good man i'm for sure doing the gears! Also how much did your installer charge you?

hahahahahahhaahaha, yea but you have to remember, the chasis of the car was re-welded to support the extra torque the b16 would provide.
