S2000 Short Block for Sale. 5,000 Miles
I got a 2001 Honda S2000 F20 Bottom End. This block had 5000 miles on it when taken out of the car. I got this from a friend at the honda dealership because a customer who was a friend of a mechanic there got a replacement block instead of getting this one rebuilt. It comes with pistons, rods, oilpan, crank. Everything from deck down. This has not been taken apart yet either. 2 of the cylinder walls are slighty scorgerd but you can porbbaly get away with just honing the block out or u could even have it bored for bigger pistons. WIll ship at buyers cost. Email me at Hondacrew13@aol.com with offers.

Explanation
Overboring the engine would not be too easy because Honda wanted to make the engine very compact, hence the F.R.M. cylinders. You would have to resleeve the engine with ductile iron; even then you could not get much more than a 1.00mm -2.00mm overbore. 2.00mm would get you an increase in displacement of about 90.00cc - which really is not worth the money and time involved.
I suppose you technically can overbore the engine ...so my previous statement was incorrect.

Re: S2000 Short Block for Sale. 5,000 Miles (MiXeD Up CiViC)
You most likely would not even have to overbore the block because the scratches are not that bad. just a good honing would work fine. really need to get rid of this so let me know your offers. thanx and i will ship this out.

With out saying too much, there are certain things about the F20C motor which are different from other Honda motors.... It wouldn't be a good idea to bore this motor out, it's possible, but chances are you'll waste alot of time and money figuring out how to do it right.
