S2000 diff oil

wtf?!! i cant find mother freaking 90wt anywhere. The only thing i can find is royal purple in 5 gallon or bigger tubs.

Honda uses 80w90 around here. I was wondering what you guys use? I can find a huge variety of 75w90 oil. But im not sure if that will be too thin.

I'm using Lucas synthetic 75w90. No problems here. It will only be 75 weight at 0 deg F. If its that cold, I'm gonna be doing any hard driving anyway. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

What diff oil does Honda use? Does anybody know? Type and weight? I know the book says 90 weight. I'm wondering what Honda puts in at the factory, or even what dealers' service departments are required to use.

Fact-based responses only, please.

Thanks.

Well beyond reading your factory service manual, using Google, S2Ki FAQ thread, and assuming your dealership isn't one of the many that put the incorrect fluid (from the SUV's) they use a straight 90 weight that's OEM Honda. You can waltz over to the parts counter at the dealership and buy it there.

However there are better fluids
