I'm not sure about for 18x8 in the front and 18x9.5 in thear rear. Very wide. It'll be close.

I'm looking at some Volks and it's 18x7.5 in the front. 18x8.5 in the rear.
Offsets are +47 & +50 respectively. HTH.

You might want to post this over at the "Tire Rack" forum on S2ki.

+42 will not work. sorry, those will stick out too far.

You will rub like a madman with a 42 offset on an 8.5" wheel. I am running a +47 with an 8" wheel and I am barely getting away with it. 8.5 with a +50 offset will still rub if you run 255 tire BTW.

You may rub.

I dont rub and I am running a +42 front with my Works and they are 17 inch with a 3 inch drop. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emcocktl.gif

17x what? What size tires? 9.5 is pretty damn wide for the rear on 18" rims.

I am running the 17x7 and 17x8 setup. For 18 inch I said he may rub. Your right they are wide at a 9.5.
I am running the recommended tire size for the S2000 that came right off the Work Japan site.
17×7.0JJ+42 Front 205/50/17 17×8.0JJ+47 Rear 225/45/17

Please consider he would be 1.5 inches wider in the rear, plus a much wider tire to fit the 9.5" with wheel. Looking at around 255 or so, right? The more I think about it, the more I'm sure it will rub.

Re: offset for s2000 (JMS JT)

I do see that, thats why I said may. Trust me I have been doing mods on my S2000 for 3+ years and was the first/pioneer at many things. A lot of times people say things wont work and I knew they would, shops included. I have seen it. But your probably right about it sticking out. If it were the same size tire and wheel I am running then it would work without rubbing at that height.

Your a new S2k owner right? How long have you had the car? Any mods? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emcocktl.gif

I would have to say, trust Spoons2k. Very knowledgeable and great guy! He has had his car for while and I am sure he done everything under the sun to his sled, twice! lol

Yeah it may, you're right. There's always a possibility. I was just worried about this guy buying a tire/wheel combo and it not working. That would suck. But I understand what you're getting at. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emcocktl.gif

Yeah, couple weeks. Been lurking the forums for awhile wanting to get the car. Car's lowered, exhaust, and some little accessories. More mods on the way. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

Oh man Stuie is coming out? Lock your doors and hide your children. That guy is a freak man! Get out while there is still time! LOL

That guy is funny! Likes to come over to my house and raid my fridge all the time too. Keep your fridge empty, maybe he'll just go away.

LOL

Adios Mi Amigo! Going home now.
