Icon2 Nightmare of buying Staggered wheels

Looking for aftermarket wheels for 05 s2k with proper offset/stagger/width is a nightmare. Anybody got any leads to finding stock sized aftermarket wheels for an ap2?

Wait...you want stock size and offset wheels? Did you lose your stock wheels?

I'm just trying to clarify the question to be helpful. Why would you want to do this?

Are you just looking for something that fits without modifications? Or do you literally want exactly the same size and offset as OEM?

Many of the JDM manufactures like Volk offer wheels in non-aggressive S2000 specific sizes.

I bought the car and the guy had put ap1 wheels with a crappy rattle can paint job thats coming off. I'd really be happy with a stock set of ap2 wheels but haven't found any for sale in my searching. Except for dealership prices and for that much a wheel just isn't reasonable. Yeah don't want to modify the fenders or put spacers on it, not out of laziness just think Honda did good to start with why mess with a good thing.

You can go up to about 17x7.5 +45/50 up front without rubbing. Around 17x8.5 +45/50 in back without rubbing. 225/45 or 215/45 tires up front. 255/40 or 245/40 tires out back.

You can also go the large width/high offset route. 17x9 +65, for example.

Do you know how to calculate how a wheel will fit based on width and offset? You want a certain maximimum outside and inside spacing with respect to the hub. If you know how to do that, you can pick out offsets and sizes easily.

Try the S2ki for sale forums, there are tons of stock wheels for sale, and most of the guys are willing to ship them. If you really insist on sticking to stockish widths and offsets for under $1k, I wouldn't look any further than the rpf1s. They are strong, lightweight, and you can get good sizing from them.

Yeah, if stock wheels are what you're looking for, that might be your best bet. Especially if you're looking to spend a grand or less.
