Re: (ExVtec)
I had to take of my spoon springs a while ago, but today I finaly got to lower it again.
Also got the cf single exhaust cap, but it didn't fit very well, and it was pretty messed up from the shipping, so I'm not sure if I can use it
Maybe the bumpers are different here in europe due to the fog light?
I also modified the titanium cooling plate to make it fit with my new air intake.
Then I took some pics to lift my spirits again after strugeling with the cf cap....

I see you bought a Hondata IMG
I have a Phenolic custom intake manifold gasket on mine, and this is really not good for power on those engine
for engine cooling the water pass into the intake manifold, if we use a thermal barier for the intake, the temp onyl rise...
On my Kpro I see IAT temp at 160+ F
with the stock intake gasket (sheel metal who transfer more heat from the intake to the engine I never see more than 130F
I will remove it next spring

Re: My s2000
Just a little update....
There's been a noise from the gearbox lately. I figured out it had to come from the output shaft, so today I changed all of the bearings in there. And I'm happy to say the noise is now gone
This is the one that was messed up...
One of the new bearings in place. Heated it on the oven, and cooled the shaft in the freezer to get it on easier:
Here's the sound of the broken bearing:

And, I also got this stuff...
2006 radio lid, and caliper repair kits:

Re: My s2000
What exactly did the noise sound like while driving? I have a noise from my gearbox but it isn't quite that loud.. It's only on decel.. Hoping it isn't the issue you just had.

Re: My s2000
The sound in my gearbox started of sounding like tire noise for a few weeks, then it got louder. But it was constant. The faster I drove, the louder it got. If it's only on decel at low speeds, it probably normal. Every s2k has a little sound from the gearbox.
