The car is coming along slowly. Phillip is a one man show. Its just a group of friends pitching in and helping when time allows it. The proper headers are being designed and mocked up now. Please bare with us.

I know it's been awhile. Iv'e been sick and building my truck i haven't had much time to keep you guys updated. The exhuast is done for the most part. Should have a great rolling video by sunday night.

The car is still around. Phillip hurt the motor during testing. He's rebuilding it now. Sorry for the lack of updates. There will be more. Just waiting on finshing up a few more details. Then there will a more in depth update.

Whats the weight difference between the 2 engines?
This has to effect Handling pretty significantly.

The j35 motor only added around 80 pounds to the car. I have to go double check my notes. With the addition of the motor we are close to 50/50 weight ratio. It was like 52/48 ratio last time the car was on the scales. I will also double check that. To the handling you really cant tell a difference from the factory motor setup.

Progress has been slow. Do to a number of issue's out of are control. The car is back together. Really now just waiting on a final approval from the customer. On a couple of details.

I'm sure honda is keeping eye out on everybody doing this swap. Lets not bash them. I really think it was a buget issue back then the higher ups pulled the plug on what they saw as a waste of money. Trying to save money vs spending type of thing(couldn't see the reward ant the end). Just my thought. Can't wait to make this drive again.

The engine in the videos was a dud- there was garbage in the coolant passageways and the engine ate it. After that and the no-show at Import Expo because of it, the project stalled. Since then, Phillip sold the shop and leased half of it back, the black S2k was sold to a good mutual friend, and the yellow/silver one with the floppy trunk and no front end should still be sitting in the shop.
I may run to the shop tomorrow and see what's left since it seems to be closing down for good. Phillip's going into business with a big name in the area, and probably won't be re-opening Intercrew. I'll call tomorrow and ask to be sure though. It's late tonight.
In other news, I've gained 15 pounds ish since the crapo videos were shot with my lard *** driving.
Drop me some contact info via PM and I'll see what he wants for the rolling shell.
