Small update. The car has a inspection sticker. The lady at the tax office was being a real bitch. Would not give us a temporary regestration sticker. The body is getting a deep tissue massage as we speak. If nothing else happens the body work should be done by mid week of next week. Thanks guys for your nice words and support.

WHOAH.
Here it is finally... our J35 swap in an S2000. I know it's really really ugly, but I couldn't wait to post it up online. To my knowledge, we're the first ones with a running J block in the S2000.
J35A4 from a Honda Pilot
AP2 transmission
Running the OEM ECU
Built at Intercrew Auto Salon in Garland, TX (NE Dallas area)
A few things aren't hooked up yet, but the car starts on its own, has all the plumbing connected (minus intake and exhaust), and it pulls like a monster. First startup on the dyno once the fuel system was in place yielded 269hp/286lbft at the wheels, and that was stopping at 5k rpm. Over 220lbft was available right at 2000rpm! The goal is to build up for all motor and turbo, and shoot for 9000rpm to keep us rev-crazy S2000 people happy.
Enjoy, and please ignore the ugly- especially the floppy trunk lid. It'll get cleaned up- I promise.

Thanks!
And that's before 5000rpm... just shows that these engines are really choked from the factory.
----- update! -----
Hood and bumper are on, hoping to head to touchup and paint in a few days. Everything fits like stock! Nobody will ever know what's under the hood...

I'm sure honda is keeping eye out on everybody doing this swap. Lets not bash them. I really think it was a buget issue back then the higher ups pulled the plug on what they saw as a waste of money. Trying to save money vs spending type of thing(couldn't see the reward ant the end). Just my thought. Can't wait to make this drive again.
Thanks,
Tommy
