This is the first MS motoring spirit CRITIQ
I purchased the S with the password JDM dampers already installed.

The dampers rubbed against the inside of the fender and hood: *OUCH*

The PWJDM dampers also had some crap hardware that accumulated tons of RUST and deterioration! (This car was from OK and TX and only 4 years old)
The welds were crap and the ball joints were also crap!

Now... I had to rescue this with some SOS dampers!

These are nice!!! and the hardware looks first class!

HOWEVER!! They are not perfect!! The hood opens up a lot! This is useful! However, if they just reduced it by a few degrees they would prevent this from happening!

The corner of the hood rubs against the molding when fully open!

Conclusion:

PasswordJDM hood dampers: 0/10 I can not recommend these! They damage the car and I just can't respect an aftermarket manufacturer that produces parts that would damage a car!

SOS hood dampers: 9/10 These are nice! but the rubbing resulting from the extreme open angle of the hood shouldn't be there. It is OK because people aren't opening their hoods everyday, but should of been looked at when designing this product! They dampen just enough so the hood closes properly and stays up in the open position.

This has been a MS motoring spirit CRITIQ!

* I am not affiliated with SOS or PWJDM(obvioiusly)

FASTLINE performance MAVEN SS shift ****. for Honda S2000

Replace the OEM s2000 shift **** with the Stainless MAVEN ****. Weighing in at 472g, this **** is twice the weight of the oem **** with most of the weight at the top. What does this mean? Shifting is smooth! Even with the **** about 1 inch lower than the OEM ****, the weight gives it a good drop-in feel during shifts and the finish is GRIPPY!

Fastline performance Maven SS shift **** MS rating: 10/10

Nice info! That shift **** looks real nice. I ran the TWM M1 Abrams that weighed 460g and I loved it. I can attest to the heavy shift ***** providing smooth, precise and comfortable shifts.

I literally laughed out loud when I read 'keep away from fire and frame' on the N1 dampers. Then I proceeded to say it out loud in my best Japanese impression voice.

Nice GPW. It's damn near impossible to find one in great condition with that interior color. Most finding are tan...blah...
