FBM prototype Intake Manifold. Looks promising.

I haven't heard when it's coming out, but this thing looks pretty sick. I know they mostly do turbo setups, but I wonder what kind of increases it'll make all motor.

oh nice! cant wait to see this finished, iv been looking for a after market manifold and I thought my only good option would be the Ballade sports intake mani, but this might be in my option list as well..

wow this looks nice.

Re: FBM prototype Intake Manifold. Looks promising.
itll make some increases for all motor, but defantely not in top end. Youll gain some low range power. Need longer runners.

Re: FBM prototype Intake Manifold. Looks promising.
i honestly doubt it will make any power for NA guys

Re: FBM prototype Intake Manifold. Looks promising.
FBM posted this on s2ki a few days ago. Said the target price will be $695.

Re: FBM prototype Intake Manifold. Looks promising.
Fernando from Kings also said they're releasing a manifold at the beginning of the year. I foresee a FBM vs Kings battle.

short runners are made more for boost, longer runners for the na guys Looks like a nice piece tho |
Re: FBM prototype Intake Manifold. Looks promising.
Looks pretty sweet and all but I just don't think the gains will be worth dropping $700 for.. I'd rather just save a bit more for ITBs.

Re: FBM prototype Intake Manifold. Looks promising.
S2000 engines are already peaky, so runners this short would only be good for a boosted application,
well,,, my thoughts anyway. LHP www.haywardperformance.com |

Re: FBM prototype Intake Manifold. Looks promising.
Doesnt matter what it costs,
if it doesnt make power in the rpm range you want ! Big box plenums on short runners are ok for boost and or topend, Not midrange drivability ! LHP www.haywardperformance.com |

Looks like it was 3D printed.

True...but FMB and Kings will be in the $700ish range...Kinsler is rumored to be well above that. Rumors though.

Looks good for us turbo guys.
Moding a s2000 NA = waist of time and $$ |
Re: FBM prototype Intake Manifold. Looks promising.
Gato performance manifold is dropping soon as well.

~~~~...do you know what is the weight savings?
Probably my Lotus 7 will benefit as I like to "add lightness" bang for the buck. Anyone knows where/who to contact the company? |
