Probably some sort of special regulations on the warranty but through that dealer who did the work only. I doubt Honda would stand behind the car if something broke. . . .

the way comptech stuff works is,....if it retains the stock pulley, and is installed by a honda dealer, it is under warranty. comptech is the only aftermarket honda doesnt frown on ,....at least they are not suppose to. even with the supercharger

i'm not sure if you can do everything under 34k

2007 S2000 = $25000~28000
BBS RGR = $2636
BF Goodrich KDW2 = $734
Hondata = $595
Mugen Exhaust = $1628
Comptech Header = $989
Comptech SC/AC = $5754

mods above alone is $12336, that's without tinting+Comptech plug cover.
on top of that you also need to find someone to install those items + shipping.
My guess is that after everything it'd cost you about $14000~15000 without the car, which means you need to buy brand new 2007 for less than $21000.
can you buy brand new 2007 S2000 for under $21000? not likely

Actually back when the Comptech SCs were being made for the S2000, you were able to get it as a dealer option. The dealer would install it for a fee and it would retain it's warranty. Pretty good deal actually, but the "option" price for the SC was incredibly high at the time. It was rare that anyone would pay for that.

Hondata Kpro on a s2k is more like $1800 after the rsx ecu and sensors. Also the comptech kit uses an FMU.

FMU =

honda motors are already broken in from the factory, if they werent wouldent you see smoke out the tail pipe for the first few miles you drove off the lot?

The high tolerances that Honda use's from the factory is what prevents the motor from smoking when new. Not that its broken in. It would cost millions and take time to break in motors at the factory. its just not reasonable nor is it cost effective.

you might wanna think twice sucka, i once new someone who worked at a honda factory and he said they run the engines at high rpm for about 10 minutes, they dont do it specifically for break-in but they have to know everything is in working order, if it wont hold 6000rpm for 10 minutes it for damns sure wont hold when lead footed americans drive and the cast rings they use seat in about 10 minutes so i dont see any problems with this dealer equipped s2000, also you know they had to tune it so it does have some miles on it.

and i believe me i dont care how tight the tolerances are, if its a true zero mile motor, it WILL smoke a bit for the first 10-15 minutes.

Thats why when dealer techs PDI (pre-delivery inspection) a car they drive 8-15 miles to make sure everything is sound. Granted theres ussually 2-3 miles on the car by the time they are delivered to the dealership. You can't buy a "zero mile car". To even use that as an argument is asanine.

my friends base model RSX had zero miles back in 2002, another friend of mine just picked up an EVO X also with zero miles so take that somewhere else cause its not working here
