Almost sold my S
Was out with a buddy looking for cars.
Almost traded my S in for a 2010 Porsche Cayman S. Only has 2,000 miles on it and the dealership was willing to let it for for $32k off the lot!
Im having trouble finding reasons not to do it. Quick someone help!!

Re: Almost sold my S
I could afford to maintain a 2014 Ferrari if I wanted too..
Youre right, upkeep is something I was overlooking. With my S, its Basics but Ive never owned a Porsche so I dont know what else I would need to do. Just because I can afford it, isn't a good enough reason.

Re: Almost sold my S
I did take a test drive and it was awesome! However, when I went for the drive in my S, I realized I'd miss the convertible too much. I live in Arizona, and not having a convertible would be like not staying warm in Antarctica.

Re: Almost sold my S
yea, I test drove one when they first came out...the sales guy at Porsche pissed me off though because he treated me like a was a piece of **** because of how I looked...then he ran the credit check and saw my bank account and then quickly started kissing my ***...another reason I wouldn't buy one...at least not from that dealership

i just went through a similar thing. Got a very serious offer for my car and was sorely tempted. Then went for a blast with the roof down.
I'll keep it for now.

Little late to post on this, but need two post to become member!!
I traded mine for a 2010 Camaro SS with a crap load of mods including a Borla exhaust.
I drove it for 3 months but missed the fun of the S2000 so sold it and back in a 2005 S.
The only thing I miss about the SS is the exhuast sound.

That's an insane deal. Jump on it, I sold a base cayman a few months ago with 14k on it for $33,900 and the guy flew from Jersey to Dallas to buy it lol.
