my new (to me) 01' silverstone s2k
hey everyone, finally took some pics. just got it a couple of weeks ago, its an 01' silverstone/black interior with 38k miles. STOLE it from a little old lady that bought it as a retirement gift to herself.
it was bone stock when i bought it, only mods so far are a k&n oem replacement cone filter and a new alpine cd player with some polk db 6.5's in the doors. gonna put some type of small sub where the spare tire goes, and call it a day for the stereo, sounds pretty decent.
i absolutely love the car so far! here's a couple of quick pics with my new tag ;-) haha.

Those wheels are really nice.
I'm new here too. Just signed up this morning. I don't own a honda. DSM's are what I know. I'm here to honda-tech to learn a little about honda's and I have a Nitrous kit maybe someone would be interested in. From what I know about honda's, they are pretty amazing. Thanks for having me, RallyEclipse98.

Don't have one, but plan to get one!
Hey guys, I've been looking at s2000's for a very long time now (almost a whole year?).
Which model years do you guys like?
And as a Newbie, I have a question: how do you pm others in here? Is it the instant messaging feature after you click on a person's UserID?
And if possible, I would like to make contact with A08_MThrizzle... can anyone hook me up with him?
Hehe thanks!

Re: Don't have one, but plan to get one! (s3ngk4ng)
Hey guys I just picked up a sebring silver 02. I've been on Honda-Tech longer than I've had this name, don't do much posting but hang around a lot for inspiration and motivation. Right now I'm in a hotel room wanting to get home to my new baby.
I am the 2nd owner. First owner took great care of her, 42k on the clock and routine maintance done, never on a lift, so obviously it needs new tires.
FYI it's completely stock right now with new dunlops on the way, just in time for babys first autoX

Hi my name is Mike and i am from madison WI. I sold my 03 civic si and got into an 04 s2000. I autocross about every weekend there is one. I currently have the car speced out for rear wheel drive street tire and my pax index is AS. I like how competitive the rear wheel street tire class is and the s2000 performs great already so no need to mod it crazy yet. My sponsor for this season and next is corsportusa.com. They helped me out a lot with parts with my SM civic si, and got me what i needed for the s2000.

Re: (Jolly Green King)
Hey everyone,
Not really new to Honda-tech, but a lot of the same story here... I've wanted one for a long time, but it just wasn't in the cards before. Had an '06 Si for a while, then went Euro for a bit. Finally was in the position to get an S2000 and I think I found a pretty good specimen.
Its an '01 Silverstone. Bought it from the second owner with 47,500 miles on it. It was dusty/dirty as hell when I saw it. (he lived out int he country down some back roads) but I could see past all that and it really is in excellent condition. the front bumper shows the worst wear with a few scratches especially on the lower lip, but nothing a respray and an OEM lip can't fix. The interior is in great shape. Passenger seat is mint, and the drivers seat, I'd day, is def above average. The soft top is great too and I just used some Mothers plastic cleaner on the rear window and headlights and they are gorgeous.
I've already filled the front plate holes, and bought a CR shift **** with red lettering. I thinks its 100% more comfortable than the stock ****. For now she gets daily driven and enjoyed the way it was meant to, especially on some nice SouthWestern PA country roads. I'm going to run it as is for the rest of the year (a set of Blizzaks for the winter) with plans building for the spring including wheels/tires definitely, perhaps some suspension, and we'll see about a little bit of performance (intake and exhaust)
Enjoy!
