**Lets See What You've Done with Your STOCKYs**
I want to see what things are being done with stock ap1 and ap2 wheels. Colors, Finishes, or ap1s riding on ap2 wheels... you get he point... so show them off

Shops charge anywhere from 40-75 per wheel to powdercoat 16" wheels. This doesn't include dismount/mount. I paid 45 a wheel to have mine done. Luckily at the time, I need 4 new tires so it worked out for me in that sense.

Depending on where you go it could cost anywhere from $60 and up per wheel. In my area it costs $75 per wheel to powder it black....

I know these aren't stock wheels, but I wonder if anyone has had their stocks chromed like that? I am interested in doing this. I think they look really good. I wonder how well they would hold up with day to day driving? (just being chrome plated)

actually i think they do make stock chrome rims, it's not my choice tho. it's rare.

actually there is a pic on s2ki a while back of a guy who did this. ha had a gpw, ap2.5 wheels painted white with the red H on the center cap. i dont hae the pics tho. maybe someone else here has pics.

It was a dealor option I believe. Ive seen a few chrome ap1 rims on stock cars.
