Icon6 Your Ruckus setup??

I have a problem I've been trying to correct for awhile now. Well, I have a 2009 model, bought it new, and the only mods I had done (before the problem) was a Password extension, and I modified my tailight, no big deal. Then I decided to modify the intake according to these specs from totalruckus: http://totalruckus.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10043

I got new main and pilot jets. The pilot jets are 38, 40, and 42 (from bowlsla). The main jets are Keihin 78, 80, 82, 85, 88, and 90. I cannot for the love of god get the combinations right. I did the whole process of starting from the stock jets, going for a run, and switching out each jet one by one, and go out for runs in between each one. Then I tried a couple other combinations. It seems like I'm either sluggish 5-20mph, or 25-40mph. I'm just wondering if there is anything I'm missing, or anything I should add? Do I need an exhaust? CDI? I'd like to get it running back to normal atleast, but I don't want to spend a lot of money doing it, like a bigger carb or something.

So I'm also wondering what everybody else's setup is... I know these things are sensitive, and weight/height/climate all make a difference.

Any help is appreciated!

Well, looks like whenever the weather gets warmer, I'll start at 38 pilot and probably stick with it, and start at 82 main. I'm about the same sea level so mine might be closer to the 90... but i don't have a yosh pipe.

so, another question then, would a cdi even help my problem at all, or is that mainly for the rev limit?
