Transporting a Ruckus in a Civic
So, I want trade my car for a Ruckus but the only vehicles I have access to is a 93 Civic HB. Does anyone know if a Ruckus would fit in a Civic HB(rear seat folded down) with zero issues? I also have a 88 Hatchback that's has been gutted but is not street-legal yet.
Thanks, Kevin
Thanks, Kevin

It might fit, laying on it's side with no rear interior but it will be a major pain in the *** loading/unloading it and it will probably scrape/damage it..
I wouldn't do it..

I transported my CRF50 (w/ an extended swingarm & 12" wheels. About the same length as a Ruckus) in a Civic coupe once. It wasn't fun.

Thanks guys, I guess I'll try to make it fit by just folding down the seats.

Remove your rear seats and your passenger seat and your golden.
I had to remove my passenger seat in my delsol to fit 4 rims and tires and I was able to do it too.
Your passenger seat is only like 4 bolts and the rears I dont believe have any bolts...
Should only take you 10 mins to remove everything... may even wanna remove your rear panels.

You might have a problem with the height. It's alot taller than a crf50. Also you don't want to lay the bike down especially when the motor is full of fluids. I would recommend a pickup or an element.

Make sure to drain the fluids out and take the filters off before you transport it. A ruckus is pretty tall stock. I have seen a ruckus in an Element but it wont fit in an EG unless you lay it down.

I'd never want to screw up my car's interior or my bike by doing this....
The Ruck will leak fluids if not stored upright, BTW. Drain it first and you'll have a lot more options.

haha i fit my 08 honda ruckus in my 99 gsr.. and yes you should atleast drain out the gas tank b4 you lay it on it's side.. major leakage, but it fits if you take the handle bars off b4 throwing it in.
