Ruckus won’t start. Removed air box
2013 removed air box. Ran fine for a bit. Rejetted the carb. Now it won’t run. It will start for a second or two every once and a while but won’t stay running. It also has a ncy cdi installed. Covering the intake also seems to help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It sounds like you need to re-rejet the carb or clean the carb, or get an aftermarket air filter. I would recommend
trying the aftermarket air filter first. Removing the stock airbox changed the air/fuel mixture. Maybe try different jets.
