Ruckus vs. CT70
I've been contemplating this for awhile now and honestly can't figure out why i or anyone should go with a ruckus. Ct70 looks better, 70cc, thousand dollars cheaper, and it changes gears! Ruckus theft is on the rise due to this new trend. I guess if I swapped a ruckus with some Honda engine that changed gears I'd buy one but then I'd have a money pit. Maybe i just love old school Honda stuff. Anyone else have any insight into this discussion on a ct70 verse a ruckus.
I used to own a 4spd clutch type ct70 back when I was kid. I miss it.. :-( I'd get another one in a heartbeat but i just sold my cbr600 because i never rode it. Stupid suit for work! okay enough ranting.

If the CT70 is road legal where you live, I'd go with that.
I own a 2008 Ruckus, but I also love vintage Honda motorcycles. I'm currently on the lookout for an S90, although nice ones are not easy to come by.
Besides, have you seen the aftermarket for the CT70 in Japan? It's even bigger than the Ruckus/Zoomer aftermarket, it's nuts.

WOW are you serious?
49cc scooter means it is street legal without a special liscence. think about it. plus not to mention it gets 100+mpg and is a badass little 185lb scooter.
small, lightweight, great gas mileage, street legal without liscence, WHY WOULD YOU NOT WANT TO BUY ONE!

I have a class M already n/m you don't need a license for either one. i dunno if the mpg is as good. All ct70s are legal just now a days it's hard to find one with a battery, headlights, and a TITLE. CT70 FTW

well modded GY6 CVTs seem to work no problem.

Negative. Built CT motor w/ 4speed manual transmission = 80+mph
CT > Ruckus

CT70 ftw!! That was the first motorcycle I ever rode, when I was like 8 years old. I've been wanting to get another one ever since then...what a great bike.
