ruckus clone

i just inherited a ruckus clone from a friend that moved outta the states.

my idead was to just use this to ride around the neighborhood and run little errands.

my question is,

does anyone here own a clone?
do the ruckus parts fit on the clones?

im looking at getting a extension kit from passwordjdm but afraid that it wouldnt work with the clone.

please dont tell me to get rid of it and get a honda ruckus.
i wasnt planing to get a scooter and i am not looking to spend 1500+ on something that i never really needed

i got this for free and this will just be my little side hobby.

Some parts fit, some dont. An extension kit from password wouldnt work. The knock off's use a gy6 chiense style engine (completely different than the ruckus engine). I also believe the 50cc chiense engines mount from under the cylinder head and the GET ruckus engine mounts from the top. Any performance (engine) part would not work because the engines are very different. I know that the ncy foot braces do fit on knock offs, ive seen it. I would guess the head light bracket might fit too.

think about this before you comment on it being cheap.
if you read up on any type of ruckus build...then you would know that a majority of ruckus owners swap motors with the chinese scooter motors.

so technically, ppl turn their honda into a chinese motored ruckus

dont knock on anything that you have no idea about.

thanks for the information tho.
i just thought the extension kit might work since ppl have theirs extended with the gy6 motor

I have a clone. Stretched, dropped, and looks just as good as the rucks for half the price. I say hook it up and dont look bag. The seat frame will fit, exhaust will fit, rims on the knock offs are better than the rucks, steering clamp will fit, and making it quicker than a ruck is really easy. U made a good choice

The Ruckus is inexpensive enough, who needs a cheap knock off?

I have a ruckus, and any of the motor swap costs, parts and extensions etc. will easily cost 1500 + anyway. So commit to it not being a cheap project to begin with, and know that you will be spending some dough either way, ruckus or clone. Dorby Motorworks puts out some ridiculous custom stuff for the Rucks. I'm still saving
